Samuel W. Randolph
Samuel W. Randolph was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate. Biography Randolph was born on December 5, 1872 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. For many years he was interested in navigation of the Great Lakes and represented several transportation companies. He was appointed as a Harbor Master in January 1902, to fill the unexpired term and reappointed for a full term in April, 1902. He died in 1941, and is buried in ''Evergreen Cemetery'', in Manitowoc. Wisconsin Senate, District 15
The 15th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises western Rock County, parts of eastern and northern Green County, and southeast Dane County. It includes the cities of Janesville, Brodhead, Edgerton, Evansville, and Stoughton, as well as the western half of the city of Beloit. Norman Knudson
Norman Alfred Knudson (April 30, 1874April 9, 1934) was an American businessman and Republican politician. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate from 1899 through 1902, representing Manitowoc and Calumet counties. Early life and war service Knudson was born on April 30, 1874, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He later joined the Wisconsin National Guard in 1890. Henry Rollmann (February 9, 1853 – August 23, 1927) was a Wisconsin pharmacist and businessman who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate. Biography Rollmann was born on February 9, 1853, in Calvary, Wisconsin. He attended high school in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He died at his home in Chilton on August 23, 1927. Manitowoc () is a city in and the county seat of Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States. The city is located on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Manitowoc River. Wisconsin State Senate
The Wisconsin Senate is the upper house of the Wisconsin State Legislature. Together with the larger Wisconsin State Assembly they constitute the legislative branch of the state of Wisconsin. The powers of the Wisconsin Senate are modeled after those of the U.S. Senate. The Wisconsin Constitution ties the size of the State Senate to that of the Assembly, by limiting its size to no less than 1/4, nor more than 1/3, of the size of the Assembly. Currently, Wisconsin is divided into 33 Senate Districts (1/3 of the current Assembly membership of 99) apportioned throughout the state based on population as determined by the decennial census, for a total of 33 senators. A harbourmaster (or harbormaster, see spelling differences) is an official responsible for enforcing the regulations of a particular harbour or port, in order to ensure the safety of navigation, the security of the harbour and the correct operation of the port facilities. Responsibilities Harbourmasters are normally responsible for issuing local safety information sometimes known as notice to mariners.
