Samo Udrih (born August 2, 1979) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player and basketball coach. Professional career Udrih played with the Dallas Mavericks NBA Summer League team in 2005. In November 2010, he signed with Panellinios of the Greek League. On December 16, 2014, he signed with Italian team Givova Scafati. On February 1, 2015, he parted ways with Givova Scafati. On February 24, 2015, he signed with Inter Bratislava of the Slovak Extraliga. 2010 FIBA World Championship
The 2010 FIBA World Championship was the 16th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship contested by the men's national teams. The tournament ran from 28 August to 12 September 2010. It was co-organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Turkish Basketball Federation and the 2010 Organising Committee. It was considered as prestigious a competition as the Olympic Basketball Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Turkey. For the third time (after the 1986 and 2006 tournaments), the World Championship had 24 competing nations. As a result, the group stage games were played in four cities, and the knockout round was hosted by Istanbul. EuroBasket 2011 was the 37th men's EuroBasket, European Basketball Championship, held by FIBA Europe. The competition was hosted by Lithuania. The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. The tournament, which was hosted by Poland, began on 7 September and concluded with the final on 20 September 2009. The Slovenia men's national basketball team ( sl, Slovenska košarkarska reprezentanca) represents Slovenia in international basketball competitions, and is managed by the Basketball Federation of Slovenia. The NBA Summer League, also known as the Las Vegas Summer League, is an off-season competition organized by the National Basketball Association.
