Samito
Samito is a Mozambican-Canadian musician and overall creative who founded Fezihaus, a Montréal-based creative company, in 2020. His growing work is described as "entrenched in an unwavering enthusiasm for sounds and all-embracing conversations of the now". A music graduate from McGill University, Samito first came to public attention in 2016 with his song 'Tiku La Hina' propelling him into countless live stages at SXSW, Osheaga, Pop Montreal, MAMA Festival & Convention, Reeperbahn, Festival d'été de Québec, among others. 2016 also saw the release of “Cem Cem (feat. Mabika & Muneshine)” on French fashion + music Label Kitsuné, followed by "I Saw You", a 2017 electro inspired club tune released with Berlin-based label Man Recordings. Osheaga
The Osheaga Music and Arts Festival (french: Festival musique et arts Osheaga) is a multi-day indie music festival in Montreal, Quebec, that is held every summer at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène. The festival takes place on six stages with various audience capacities. Translated from their French equivalents, they are called "River Stage," "Mountain Stage," "Green Stage," "Trees Stage," "Valley Stage," and "Zone Piknic Electronik." Each performance area is paired with a sponsor. Band set times fluctuate based on the status of the performer within the festival. Emerging artists play 30-minute sets, and headliners conclude each day with 90-minute plus sets. The 2006 festival attracted a crowd of around 25,000 people. The 2012 festival reached its 40,000 attendance capacity each day. Maputo
Maputo (), formerly named Lourenço Marques until 1976, is the Capital city, capital, and largest city of Mozambique. Much (an abbreviation for its full name MuchMusic) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. through its Bell Media subsidiary that airs programming aimed at teenagers and young adults.
