Samir Kamouna
Samir Ibrahim Kamouna ( ar, سمير كمونة; born 2 April 1972) is an Egyptian football coach and former player who manages El Minya SC. A former defender, he played for the Egypt national team. Club career Kamouna had a spell in German Bundesliga with 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and in the Turkish Super Lig with Bursaspor. His best performance in Egypt was while playing for Al Ahly. International career Kamouna received his first international cap with the Egypt national team against Ethiopia on 4 June 1995. Kamouna played for Egypt in two African Cups of Nations, 1996 African Cup of Nations and 1998 African Cup of Nations. He scored in the first, and Egypt won the latter. The Cairo International Stadium ( ar, ستاد القاهرة الدولي), formerly known as Nasser Stadium, is an Olympic-standard, multi-use stadium with an all-seated capacity of 75,000. The 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup was the fourth FIFA Confederations Cup, and the second organised by FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Mexico between 24 July and 4 August 1999. It was won by Mexico, who beat Brazil 4–3 in the final. Mexico became the first host nation to win the FIFA Confederations Cup. The competition was to originally be held in three stadiums, in three cities in the country. However, since the stadiums in Monterrey were sponsored by a competing beer company other than the official advertiser, the city was left out of the tournament altogether. The 1996 African Cup of Nations was the 20th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa ( CAF). It was hosted by South Africa, who replaced original hosts Kenya.
