Same-sex marriage in Belgium has been legal since 1 June 2003. A bill for the legalization of same-sex marriages was passed by the Senate (Belgium), Senate on 28 November 2002, and by the Chamber of Representatives (Belgium), Chamber of Representatives on 30 January 2003.
