Sam Walter Foss
Sam Walter Foss (June 19, 1858 – February 26, 1911) was an American librarian and poet whose works included ''The House by the Side of the Road'' and ''The Coming American.'' New Hampshire Route 43
New Hampshire Route 43 is a north–south state highway in southeastern New Hampshire which runs from Candia to Northwood. The southern terminus of NH 43 is at an interchange with New Hampshire Route 101 in Candia. The northern terminus is at an intersection with U.S. Route 4, U.S. Route 202 and New Hampshire Route 9 in Northwood. Route description NH 43 begins in Candia at exit 3 of NH 101. The highway begins on Old Candia Road (which continues west of NH 101 as an unnumbered road) and proceeds north, intersecting with NH 27 before continuing into the town of Deerfield. Upon entering Deerfield, NH 43 turns sharply east, then north again before meeting NH 107. NH 43 and NH 107 form a concurrency of through the town center, then NH 107 splits off northwest towards Epsom while NH 43 turns northeast towards Northwood. Ernie Harwell
William Earnest Harwell (January 25, 1918 – May 4, 2010) was an American sportscaster, known for his long career calling play-by-play of Major League Baseball games. For 55 seasons, 42 of them with the Detroit Tigers, Harwell called the action on radio and/or television. In January 2009, the American Sportscasters Association ranked Harwell 16th on its list of Top 50 Sportscasters of All Time. Lamya Al-Mugheiry (30 October 1973 – 8 January 2009), better known as her mononym Lamya, was a Kenyan-born English singer-songwriter and record producer. She rose to fame in the early 1990s as one of the lead singers of R&B group Soul II Soul, and later as a backing singer for Duran Duran. In 2002, she released her debut album ''Learning from Falling'', which spawned the number 1 Dance chart single "Empires (Bring Me Men)". On 8 January 2009, she died from a sudden heart attack. She was recording on her second album ''Hiding in Plain Sight'', which was scheduled to be released later that year. The Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area. The Rapids compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Founded in 1995, as part of the Anschutz Corporation, later to be a founding sports franchise of the global sports & entertainment juggernaut AEG, the club is a founding member of MLS, playing their first season in 1996. The Rapids are owned by the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, also owners of the Denver Nuggets of NBA, Colorado Avalanche of NHL, and other sports teams outside of the state of Colorado. Rocky Mountain Cup
The Rocky Mountain Cup is a soccer trophy contested between Real Salt Lake and the Colorado Rapids. The cup is awarded by the Committee of 10, a group of bi-partisan fans who run the competition, to the team with the most points in games played between the two. The teams are awarded 3 points for each win and 1 point for each tie in regular season MLS games against each other. The Cup is awarded at the conclusion of the deciding game of the series between the two teams. If the teams end the season in a points tie, the team with the most goals on aggregate will win (for a two-team competition, this is equivalent to goal differential). If the teams are tied on aggregate goals, the current holders retain the Cup for another year. The cup was created in 2005, the first year of play for Real Salt Lake.
