Francisco De Goya
Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes (; ; 30 March 174616 April 1828) was a Spanish romantic painter and printmaker. He is considered the most important Spanish artist of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. His paintings, drawings, and engravings reflected contemporary historical upheavals and influenced important 19th- and 20th-century painters. Goya is often referred to as the last of the Old Masters and the first of the moderns. Goya was born to a middle-class family in 1746, in Fuendetodos in Aragon. He studied painting from age 14 under José Luzán y Martinez and moved to Madrid to study with Anton Raphael Mengs. He married Josefa Bayeu in 1773. José Garnelo
José Santiago Garnelo y Alda (25 July 1866 – 28 October 1944) was a Spanish painter in the Naturalist style. He mostly did genre scenes, portraits and scenes from Classical history. Biography Garnelo was born in Enguera. His father was a doctor and the family settled in Montilla when he was only two. In 1882, after graduating from the local schools, he went to Seville to study philosophy and literature, but soon abandoned those pursuits to enroll at the "Escuela de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría", where he studied painting until 1885 with Eduardo Cano and Manuel Ussel de Guimbarda.Brief biography

Enrique Martínez Cubells y Ruiz Diosayuda (28 April 1874, in Madrid – 25 February 1947, in Málaga) was a Spanish painter. He specialized in genre scenes of village life, with a focus on the fishing community. Biography His father was the painter and art restorer, Salvador Martínez Cubells, who provided him with his first lessons. His grandfather, Francisco Martínez Yago, was also a painter. Later, he attended the Escuela Especial de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado and the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. His teachers included Emilio Sala, Antonio Muñoz Degrain and Carlos de Haes.Biography
