Salman Mazahiri
Salman Mazahiri (10 October 1946 – 20 July 2020) was an Indian Muslim scholar who served as chancellor of Mazahir Uloom Jadeed. Early life and education Mazahiri was born on 10 October 1946. Aged 15, he entered Mazahir Uloom, Saharanpur in 1962 (1381 AH) and graduated in 1386 AH. He studied ''Sahih Bukhari'' with Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi, ''Sahih Muslim'', '' Sunan Nasai'', ''Tirmidhi'' with Munawwar Hussain, ''Sunan Abu Dawud'' with Muzaffar Hussain and ''Al-Aqidah al-Tahawiyyah'' with Muhammad Asadullah. He studied '' Mishkat al-Masabih'' with Muzaffar Hussain up to the chapter of "major sins" and then completed it with Muhammad Yunus Jaunpuri. He was a disciple of Talha Kandhlawi. Career Mazahiri began teaching at Mazahir Uloom in 1968. In 1972, he taught '' Tafsir al-Jalalayn'' and in 1976, became hadith professor in the seminary and taught '' Mishkat al-Masabih''. Muhammad Saad Kandhlavi
Muhammad Saad Kandhlawi (born 10 May 1965) is an Indian Muslim scholar and preacher. He is the great-grandson of the Tablighi Jamat founder Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi. He heads one faction of the Tablighi Jamat. Early life Saad Kandhlawi was born on 10 May 1965 (1385 AH) in Western Uttar Pradesh's Kandhla town in Shamli District. He is the great-grandson of the founder of Tablighi Jamat, Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi through former ameer of the Tablighi Jamat Muhammad Yusuf Kandhlawi. Fuzail Ahmad Nāsirī (born 13 May 1978) is an Indian Islamic scholar, Urdu writer and poet, who is a professor of hadith and vice-administrator of education at the Jamia Imam Muhammad Anwar Shah. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind
Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind or Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind () is one of the leading organizations of Islamic scholars belonging to the Deobandi school of thought in India. It was founded in November 1919 by a group of Muslim scholars including Abdul Bari Firangi Mahali, Kifayatullah Dehlawi, Muhammad Ibrahim Mir Sialkoti and Sanaullah Amritsari. The Jamiat was an active participant in the Khilafat Movement in collaboration with the Indian National Congress. It also opposed the partition of India, taking the position of composite nationalism: that Muslims and non-Muslims form one nation. As a result, this organisation had a small break-away faction known as the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, which decided to support the Pakistan movement. Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama (translated as, House of Knowledge and Assembly of Scholars University) is an Islamic seminary in Lucknow, India. All India Muslim Personal Law Board
The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) is a non-government organisation constituted in 1973 by that time Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi to adopt suitable strategies for the protection and continued applicability of Muslim Personal Law in India, most importantly, the Muslim Personal Law (Shariat) Application Act of 1937, providing for the application of the Islamic Law Code of Shariat to Muslims in India in personal affairs. The Act applies to all matters of personal law except such successions. Khanqah
A khanqah ( fa, خانقاه) or khangah ( fa, خانگاه; also transliterated as ''khankah'', ''khaneqa'', ''khanegah'' or ''khaneqah''; also Arabized ''hanegah'', ''hanikah'', ''hanekah'', ''khankan''), also known as a ribat (), is a building designed specifically for gatherings of a Sufi brotherhood or ''tariqa'' and is a place for spiritual practice and religious education.
