Salih Bin Abdullah Al Humaid
Ṣāliḥ ibn ʻAbd Allāh Ibn Ḥumayd ( ar, صالح بن عبد الله ابن حميد, Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid; born 1949), is a Saudi Arabian Imam and politician. He is currently one of the nine Imams of Grand Mosque of Mecca. He is also member of Assembly of Saudi Arabia since 1993 and had served Speaker of Majlis al Shura from February 2002 to February 2009. Biography Salih Humaid is member of Saudi Majlis al Shura (Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia) since 1993 and the Speaker of Majlis al Shura from February 2002 to February 2009. He is currently imam of Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque of Mecca). He is also a member of the Arabic Language Academy in Mecca, and the President of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in Jeddah. Consultative Assembly Of Saudi Arabia
The Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia ( ar, مجلس الشورى السعودي, Maǧlis aš-Šūrā s-Saʿūdiyy), also known as ''Majlis ash-Shura'' or ''Shura Council,'' is the formal advisory body of Saudi Arabia. It is a deliberative assembly that advises the King on issues that are important to Saudi Arabia. It has the power to propose laws to the King of Saudi Arabia and his cabinet to prove it and pass it. It has 150 members, all appointed by the king and chosen "from amongst scholars, those of knowledge, expertise and specialists". Since 2013, the Assembly has included 30 female members out of the total of 150 members, after a 20 percent minimum quota for women was imposed. International Islamic Fiqh Academy
International Islamic Fiqh Academy ( ar, مجمع الفقه الإسلامي الدولي) is an international Islamic institution for the advanced study of Islamic jurisprudence and law based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was founded following a resolution by the Third Islamic Summit Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held in Mecca, that called for the establishment of an Islamic Fiqh Academy. The International Islamic Fiqh Academy was established in June 1983 as a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. It consists of 57 member states and representatives. The King Faisal Prize ( ar, جائزة الملك فيصل, formerly King Faisal International Prize), is an annual award sponsored by King Faisal Foundation presented to "dedicated men and women whose contributions make a positive difference". Ibn Humaid
Abdullah Ibn Humaid (1908–1981) also known as Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Humaid was the Chief Justice of Saudi Arabia and Imam of the Great Mosque of Mecca.
