Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé
Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé is a municipality in the Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine region of the province of Quebec in Canada. It is the smallest municipality, in land area and population, of the Le Rocher-Percé Regional County Municipality. Fishing is its primary business, and its harbour handles the fourth highest value of seafood in Quebec. Its factories, employing hundreds of people, process snow crab, rock crab, and lobster. In addition to the village of Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé itself, the municipality also includes the community of Saint-Isidore. Le Rocher-Percé Regional County Municipality
Rocher-Percé is a regional county municipality in the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region of Quebec, Canada. Its seat is Chandler, Quebec, Chandler. Prior to July 17, 1999 it was known as Pabok Regional County Municipality. It is named after Percé Rock (the pierced rock), a massive arched sandstone rock rising from the Atlantic just off the tip of the Gaspé peninsula. The region includes the towns of Percé, Quebec, Percé, Grande-Rivière, Quebec, Grande-Rivière, Port-Daniel–Gascons and Chandler, Quebec, Chandler. Percé is a small city near the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. Within the territory of the city there is a village community also called Percé. Percé, member of the association of Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec, is mainly a tourist location particularly well known for the attractions of Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island. Gaspé (provincial Electoral District)
Gaspé is a provincial electoral district in the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region of Quebec, Canada, which elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It is located on the eastern edge of the Gaspé Peninsula. It notably includes the municipalities of Gaspé, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Grande-Rivière and Percé. It was originally created for the 1867 election (and an electoral district of that name existed earlier in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada and the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada). Its final election was in 1927. It disappeared in the 1931 election and its successor electoral districts were Gaspé-Nord and Gaspé-Sud. Lobsters are a family (biology), family (Nephropidae, Synonym (taxonomy), synonym Homaridae) of marine crustaceans.
