Sainte-Aurélie is a municipality in the Les Etchemins Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. Its population is 856 as of the Canada 2021 Census. It is named after Sister Sainte-Aurélie, an Ursuline nun at the end of the 19th century. Sainte-Aurélie has a small border crossing to the United States of America, Ste. Aurelie Station. History Sainte-Aurélie was founded by a Frenchman named Victor Vanier in 1909. Saint-Côme–Linière () is a municipality in the Beauce-Sartigan Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. The official spelling given by the Commission de toponymie uses an en dash after "Saint-Côme", but the town's own website uses a second hyphen: Saint-Côme—Linière. The population is 3,278 as of 2021. Saint-Côme–Linière was constituted by the amalgamation of the parish municipality of Saint-Côme-de-Kennebec and the village of Linière on August 17, 1994. It seems that settlers would have liked to name their parish Saint-Louis, but it was refused due to possible confusion with Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska (now part of Kamouraska, Quebec). Monsignor Elzéar-Alexandre Taschereau then suggested to name it Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague, following saint Aloysius Gonzaga.
