Saint-Denis Pleyel
Saint-Denis Pleyel is a future Paris Métro station located in Saint-Denis, in the northern suburbs of Paris. Currently under construction as part of the Grand Paris Express project, the station is proposed to open in 2024 as the terminus of line 14. In future, the station will serve the orbital line 15 and be the terminus of lines 16 and 17. The station will be operated by Keolis, which will also operate lines 16 and 17. Location Located in Saint-Denis, the station will be built west of the Paris-Lille railway lines, at the corner of Rue Pleyel and Francisque-Poulbot. The station Carrefour Pleyel of line 13 will be within walking distance of the station. A new bridge will be constructed to connect the station to Stade de France–Saint-Denis on RER D. Stade (), officially the Hanseatic City of Stade (german: Hansestadt Stade, nds, Hansestadt Stood) is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. Paris Métro Line 15
Paris Métro Line 15 is one of four new lines of Grand Paris Express, a major expansion project of the Paris Métro. Currently under construction, the line will provide a new orbital route through the suburbs of Paris, servicing the departments of Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne and Seine-Saint-Denis. The southern section of the line is planned to open in 2025, with the completed line planned to open in the early 2030s. A ''déclaration d'utilité publique'', or declaration of public utility, is a formal recognition in French law that a proposed project has public benefits. The declaration must be obtained for many large construction projects in France, especially for infrastructure, before work can begin. Process The first part of the declaration is a public inquiry, usually started by a prefect, to collect the views of all affected parties. Responses from affected parties are considered by a commissioner, who assesses whether the proposal has an overall benefit for the public. Paul van Haver (; born 12 March 1985), better known by his stage name Stromae (), is a Belgian singer, rapper, songwriter and producer. Cross-platform Interchange
A cross-platform interchange is a type of interchange between different lines at a metro (or other railway) station. The term originates with the London Underground; such layouts exist in other networks but are not commonly so named. In the United States, it is often referred to as a cross-platform transfer. This configuration occurs at a station with island platforms, with a single platform in between the tracks allocated to two directions of travel, or two side platforms between the tracks, connected by level corridors. The benefit of this design is that passengers do not need to use stairs to another platform level for transfer.
