Saikat (umpire)
Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid (born 16 October 1976), also known as Sharfuddoula Saikat, is an international cricket umpire and a former first-class player from Bangladesh. Playing career In 1994 Sharfuddoula played three matches for Bangladesh at the 1994 ICC Trophy in Kenya. Sharfuddoula played 10 first-class cricket matches for Dhaka Metropolis in 2000 and 2001. Umpiring career He made his first-class debut as an umpire in February 2007 in a match between Barisal Division and Sylhet Division. In January 2010 he umpired his first One Day International match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka becoming the tenth Bangladeshi to umpire at this level. On 17 March 2018 at the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, along with Langton Rusere, he was one of the on-field umpires during the ninth place playoff match between Papua New Guinea and Hong Kong. Saikat Ahamed ( bn, সৈকত আহমেদ) is an English actor and writer based in Bristol. He is best known for his role of Vince Arya in ''Monday Monday''. Early life Ahamed was born in Surrey and grew up in Birmingham, West Midlands, England in the 1980s. Ahamed attended King Edward's School in Birmingham, and left in 1992. In 1995, he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from Cardiff University. He then studied acting at the London Centre for Theatre Studies. Saikat Chakrabarti (born January 12, 1986) is a political advisor and software engineer. He was formerly chief of staff to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the U.S. representative from New York's 14th congressional district representing portions of The Bronx and Queens in New York City. On August 2, 2019, he left Ocasio-Cortez's office to run New Consensus, a group promoting the Green New Deal. Saikat Saha Roy (born 12 December 1991) is an Indian football player who currently plays for I-League 2nd Division club Bhawanipore F.C. Club career East Bengal After spending a season being captain for the East Bengal F.C. youth team in the I-League U19 championships Roy signed professional terms with the club. The 2011–12 season started off well for Roy as he was included in the East Bengal's 2011 Indian Federation Cup squad list. After the Federation Cup Roy made his first start and game for the East Bengal first-team during the 2011 Indian Super Cup against Salgaocar.
