Said Karam ( ps, سيدکرم ولسوالۍ, fa, ولسوالی سیدکرم) is a district in Paktia Province, Afghanistan. The main town in the district is Khandkhel. The district is within the heartland of the Muqbil tribe of Pashtuns.Paktia Province Tribal Map (Page 12)

Paktia (Pashto/Dari: – ''Paktyā'') is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the east of the country. Khandkhel
Khandkhel ( ps, خڼ خېل) or Khand Khil is a town in the Said Karam District of Paktia Province, Afghanistan. It is located 25 km to the northeast of Gardez, the capital of Paktia, and is 40 km to the southwest of Aryob. Mohammad Najibullah
Mohammad Najibullah Ahmadzai (Pashto/ prs, محمد نجیب‌الله احمدزی, ; 6 August 1947 – 27 September 1996), commonly known as Dr. Najib, was an Afghan politician who served as the General Secretary of the People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan, the leader of the one-party ruling Democratic Republic of Afghanistan from 1986 to 1992 and as well as the President of Afghanistan from 1987 until his resignation in April 1992, shortly after which the mujahideen took over Kabul.
