Safari TV Channel is an Indian non-profit television channel broadcasting in Malayalam language. It is an exploration channel based in Marangattupilly, Kottayam, Kerala. The channel is part of Safari Multimedia Pvt.Ltd, India. Safari TV does not accept advertising. Safari showcases the world through travelogues, explorations and programs highlighting history. Safari TV Channel has production facilities and studios in Marangattupilly and Marine Drive, Ernakulam. History Safari TV was launched by Santosh George Kulangara on 1 November 2013. Branding The Swahili word ''safari'' means journey. It originated from the Arabic word ''safar''. These words became used for any type of journey. Kottayam
Kottayam () is a municipal town in the Indian state of Kerala. Flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Vembanad Lake and paddy fields of Kuttanad on the west. It is the district headquarters of Kottayam district, located in south-west Kerala. Swahili Language
Swahili, also known by its local name , is the native language of the Swahili people, who are found primarily in Tanzania, Kenya and Mozambique (along the East African coast and adjacent litoral islands). Malayalam (; , ) is a Dravidian language spoken in the Indian state of Kerala and the union territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry (Mahé district) by the Malayali people. The C band is a designation by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum in the microwave range of frequencies ranging from 4.0 to 8.0 gigahertz (GHz).
