Sadiki
Henry Buckley Jr. aka Sadiki previously known as Pancho Kryztal (born 17 November 1971, Kingston, Jamaica), is a Jamaican-American singer, songwriter and producer. Early life He was born Henry Buckley Jr., in Rollington Town, Kingston, Jamaica. With a father, Henry Buckley, who was a singer-songwriter and the Music Director/Conductor for the Jamaica Constabulary Force Band, Sadiki was given no choice as to the career path that would later choose him. He migrated to the United States in the late '80s and settled on Chicago's northside. As part of Chicago's sizeable Jamaican community he was exposed to the newest Reggae sounds coming out of Jamaica as well as the cutting edge of Hip-Hop, R&B and everything in between. Through these influences Sadiki has developed the vocal range and lyrical skills that brings together the best of both worlds. Jamaica Constabulary Force Band
The Jamaica Constabulary Force Band (JCF Band) is a 50-member specialized department and police band based in Kingston Gardens, Jamaica. It consists of constables who specialize in music and the arts. Members conduct the musical duties as well as fulfill the responsibilities of a commissioned police officer. It was founded on 6 May 1958 by orders of Commissioner Reginald T. Michelin with 15 police constables in its ranks led by Superintendent C. T. Beare from England. That same day, it made its first performance at Fort Charles. Over the years, many band members have been sent to Kneller Hall for musical training. Jamaican-American singer Sadiki is the son of Henry Buckley Sr., who was a singer/songwriter and Music Director for the JCF Band. Rollington Town is a neighborhood in the area of Kingston, Jamaica. Part of it is in Kingston Parish. A campus of Kingston College is in Rollington Town. Notable events In 2017 Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) suspended service on a line through Rollington Town because of road blocks and violence. Freddie McGregor
Freddie McGregor (born 27 June 1956, in Clarendon, Jamaica) is a Jamaican singer, musician and record producer. His music career began when he was seven years old. Biography In 1963 he joined with Ernest Wilson and Peter Austin to form The Clarendonians, and began to record for the Studio One label. He was only seven years old at the time and was known as 'Little Freddie'. He was also a member of the Generation Gap. McGregor converted to Rastafari in 1975. He is a member of the Twelve Tribes organisation.
