Sackville-Uniacke
Sackville-Uniacke is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada. It was created as Sackville-Beaver Bank in 2012 from parts of much of Hammonds Plains-Upper Sackville and part of Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank. The riding also existed from 1993 to 2003. Following the 2019 riding boundary review, the riding changed names to Sackville-Uniacke, and gained parts of Hants East (Uniacke area) and a small section of Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank, while losing some territory to Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank (the Woodbine Mobile Home area). Brad Johns
Bradley "Brad" Harris Johns (born March 5) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2017 provincial election. A member of the Progressive Conservative Association of Nova Scotia, he represents the electoral district of Sackville-Uniacke. Early life and education Johns graduated from Sackville High School in 1988 and then attended Mount Saint Vincent University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Before politics Prior to his election to the House of Assembly, Johns was a Halifax Regional Municipal Councillor from 2000 until his defeat in 2016. The Progressive Conservative Party of Nova Scotia (formerly Progressive Conservative Association of Nova Scotia), is a moderate political party in Nova Scotia, Canada. Rosemary Godin
Rosemary Godin is a former Canadian politician and current writer and Christian minister. She was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 1998 provincial election. She represented the electoral district of Sackville-Beaver Bank as a member of the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party (NDP). She served for one term before she was defeated in the 1999 election. Following her defeat, she became disillusioned with the NDP and left the party. In the 2003 provincial election, she ran as a Liberal in the riding of Dartmouth North and lost to incumbent NDP Jerry Pye. Mat Whynott
Mathew Whynott is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2009 provincial election. From 2009 to 2013, he represented the electoral district of Hammonds Plains-Upper Sackville as a member of the New Democratic Party. The Nova Scotia New Democratic Party is a social-democratic, progressive provincial party in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is the provincial entity of the federal New Democratic Party (NDP). It was founded as the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) in 1932, and became the New Democratic Party in 1961. It became the governing party of Nova Scotia following the 2009 Nova Scotia election, winning 31 seats in the Legislature, under the leadership of Premier Darrell Dexter. It is the first New Democratic Party in Atlantic Canada to form a government, and the second to form a government in a province east of Manitoba.
