''Saandram'' (സാന്ദ്രം, Lit. ''Dense'') is a 1990 Indian Malayalam psychological thriller film, directed by Thaha and produced by Thaha and Ashokan. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Parvathy, Innocent and Captain Raju in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Johnson. Plot The Poulose family which comes to Ooty on vacation, befriends a newly married couple Sreeraman(Suresh Gopi) and Indulekha( Parvathy) on their honeymoon staying next door. The couple looks happy on the outside, but the wife has problems underneath the surface. When the local Circle Inspector(Captain Raju) makes a visit, it is revealed that a psychopath Unni( Sai Kumar) is after Indulekha's life. Unni was Indulekha's ex-lover who had been comatose for over a year and a half after a fatal accident with no hope of recovery. Her parents had forced her to a reluctant marriage with Sreeraman. But Unni made a miraculous recovery afterwards but with a mental imbalance which leaves him with no sense ...

Kalpana Ranjani (5 October 1965 – 25 January 2016), better known mononymously as Kalpana, was an Indian actress who appeared in South Indian films, predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil. Kalpana has acted in over 300 films in various South Indian languages. Ashwathy Kurup (born 7 April 1970), better known by her stage name Parvathy and married name Parvathy Jayaram (Aswathi Jayaram) , is a former Indian actress, costume designer and classical dancer, who appeared in Malayalam films. Parvathy was a popular actress in Malayalam cinema during the late-1980s and early-1990s. Her first film was directed by Lenin Rajendran, but was shelved and never released. Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles. He has acted in more than 750 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. Padmadalakshan, better known by his stage name Kuthiravattam Pappu (24 December 1936 – 25 February 2000), was a popular Indian stage and film actor.
