SULO (Australian Rock Band)
SULO was an Australian rock band formed in the late 1990’s on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. The band was influenced by Metal, Nu Metal and Punk. Early Years (1999–2002) Originally, the band had five members, all of whom where from the Kempsey area. While still in school the band gained released several independent demo EP's. In 2001 SULO appeared on the 6th volume of the Grow Your Own series released by Foghorn Records. During this time the band underwent several lineup changes as well as touring the east coast of Australia more frequently. By mid-2002 they relocated to Melbourne with only Jimmy Kyle, Ronojoy Fleissgarten, Arlo Enemark and Gaff remaining. Without a drummer, the band commenced production of their EP ''Western Glare'' in Sydney while still maintaining a busy touring schedule, sharing the stage with the likes of Cog, The Butterfly Effect, The Hard-ons and The Sick Puppies. Kempsey, New South Wales
Kempsey is a town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia and is the council seat for Kempsey Shire. It is located roughly 16.5 kilometres inland from the coast of the Pacific Ocean, on the Macleay Valley Way near where the Pacific Highway and the North Coast railway line cross the Macleay River. The Butterfly Effect (band)
The Butterfly Effect are an Australian rock band from Brisbane formed in 1999. The band released a self-titled debut EP in 2001, and then three full-length albums afterwards; '' Begins Here'' in 2003, ''Imago'' in 2006, and '' Final Conversation of Kings'' in 2008. During this time, the band consisted of Clint Boge on lead vocals, Kurt Goedhart on guitar, Glenn Esmond on bass, and Ben Hall on drums. After struggling for years to work on a fourth studio album, Boge left the band in 2012 due to personal and creative differences. The remaining members recruited Brisbane-based singer Paul Galagher for a final single and tour before announcing their breakup in 2016. Killcare Beach
Killcare is a south-eastern suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located on the Bouddi Peninsula. It is part of the local government area. Prior to the arrival of European Settlement, Aboriginals from the coastal Guringai (Ku-ring-gai) tribe lived in and around Hardys Bay area. Evidence is to be found today in rock carvings and middens found in numerous locations around the area. After British settlement the area was established as a fishing and farming community. The name probably originated later as it was subdivided early last century as "killing one's cares". The Killcare area encompasses both the beach and bay side of the Bouddi Peninsula and is flanked by the Bouddi National Park. Sick Puppies is an Australian alternative metal band formed in Sydney, New South Wales in 1997. After releasing their debut album '' Welcome to the Real World'' in 2001, the band rose to prominence in 2006 when their song " All the Same" was uploaded, along with a video, to YouTube. The Hard-Ons are an Australian punk rock band, which formed in 1982 in Punchbowl, New South Wales. Its founding members were Keish de Silva on lead vocals and drums, Peter "Blackie" Black on guitar and backing vocals, and Ray Ahn on bass guitar. The band issued eight studio albums prior to their disbandment in 1994, and achieved 17 consecutive number-one hits on the Australian alternative charts during their first 12 years as a band.
