The SPL Pohjois-Suomen piiri ''(Northern Finland Football Association)'' is one of the 12 district organisations of the Football Association of Finland. It administers lower tier football in Northern Finland. Background Suomen Palloliitto Pohjois-Suomen piiri, commonly referred to as SPL Pohjois-Suomen piiri or SPL Pohjois-Suomi, is the governing body for football in Northern Finland. Based in Oulu, the Association's Director is Esa Saajanto. Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 104 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). The competition There are 104 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 9 groups of 10 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. The top team in each Kolmonen group is promoted to Kakkonen and the two lowest placed teams are normally relegated to the Nelonen. Raahe
Raahe (; sv, Brahestad; ) is a town and municipality of Finland. Paavola is a former municipality of Finland, now a village in the municipality of Siikajoki. The village is located beside the Siikajoki river. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. Kajaanin Haka
Kajaanin Haka (abbreviated KajHa) is a football club from Kajaani in Finland. The club was formed in 1953 and their home ground is at the Kajaanin liikuntapuisto.
