	SM Match Play The Swedish Match Play Championship is a golf tournament played since 1904, held for both men and women. It is the oldest and most traditional golf tournament in Sweden. The name SM is shortening in Swedish language for "Svenska Mästerskapet" (the Swedish Championship). History From the first tournament in 1904 (for men) and 1911 (for women) until 1983, it was an amateur tournament, from 1910 open only for Swedish citizens, and the winner was the official Swedish champion. Since 1984, except 1985, the tournament has been open to both amateurs and professionals and for foreign citizens. If a foreigner wins, the best placed Swedish player becomes Swedish champion of the year. The men's tournament is part of the Swedish Golf Tour since 1986 and the Nordic Golf League since 1999. 	Drottningholm Drottningholm, literally "Queen's Islet", is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality situated in Ekerö Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden, with 398 inhabitants in 2010. 	Caroline Hedwall Caroline Ingrid Hedwall (born 13 May 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour. 	Christopher Feldborg Nielsen Christopher Feldborg Nielsen (born 15 September 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer. He has five wins on the Nordic Golf League (NGL) and won the 2021 NGL Order of Merit to earn promotion to the Challenge Tour after he shot an albatross on the final hole of the Road to Europe Tour Final. Professional career Feldborg Nielsen was born in Ystad, Sweden. He turned professional in 2012 and started playing on the Swedish Golf Tour. 	Oscar Lengdén Oscar Lengdén (born 12 May 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer. Lengdén spent four years and won two NCAA Division titles at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale before he returned to Europe and turned professional in 2015. Competing in his native Sweden he won four times in six weeks to earn his place on the Nordic Golf League, where he won twice. He finished third on the 2016 Nordic Golf League ranking to become a Challenge Tour rookie in 2017. Lengdén made it to the final qualifying stage at the European Tour Qualifying School in 2016 but failed by one stroke to earn a European Tour card. 	2020 Nordic Golf League The 2020 Nordic Golf League is the 22nd season of the Nordic Golf League, a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour. In-season changes The season started with four events in Spain, and was later suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 	Adam Blommé Adam Blommé (born 19 April 1996) is a Swedish professional golfer. He won 2021 Swedish Golf Tour Order of Merit and joined the Challenge Tour, where he won the 2023 Swiss Challenge and finished 6th in the rankings to graduate to the European Tour.
