SMK Cochrane
SMK Cochrane (formerly known as SMK Jalan Cochrane or Cochrane Road School, C.R.S.) is a secondary school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Founded in 1957 to provide secondary education to pupils who live near Cochrane Road. The school was inaugurated on 1 September 1965 by Datuk Harun Idris, Menteri Besar of Selangor at that time. It offers classes for students from Form 1 to Form 6. Since 1994, the school changed it status from a boys school to a co-ed secondary school. It was situated on Jalan Cochrane before the school was relocated to a new building in Jalan Shahbandar in late 2004. The school was renamed to SMK Cochrane as it is no longer situated on Jalan Cochrane. The new school building was official opened on 4 February 2005 by Dato' Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Minister of Education. Shweta Sekhon (born Shwetajeet Kaur Sekhon, 6 November 1997), is a Malaysian Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned as Miss World Malaysia 2016 and Miss Universe Malaysia 2019. The 2010 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and P&G and officially known as the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup, was the 8th edition of the AFF Championship, took place on 1–29 December 2010. Indonesia and Vietnam hosted the group stage from 1 to 8 December. Two-legged home-and-away semi-finals and finals were held between 15 and 29 December 2010. Vietnam were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Malaysia in the semi-finals. Indonesia appeared in their fourth final while the Philippines qualified for the semi-finals for the first time under the management of Simon McMenemy. Lim Kok Wing
Lim Kok Wing (; 19451 June 2021) was a Malaysian businessman, philanthropist, educator, and illustrator. He was the founding president of the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Early life Lim was born in 1945 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He attended Methodist Boys School and Cochrane Road Secondary School. Career In 1975, at age 29, Lim established advertising firm Wings Creative Consultants. In 1992, he founded the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya.
