SF9 ( ko, 에스에프나인 ; shortened from Sensational Feeling 9) is a South Korean boy band formed by FNC Entertainment and the company's first dance boy group. Consisting of nine members, the group debuted on October 5, 2016 with the release of their first single album, '' Feeling Sensation''. History Pre-debut and NEOZ School The group first performed in Japan on December 11, 2015. The group had consisted of 11 members at that time. In May 2016, they participated as "NEOZ Dance" in FNC Entertainment's survival show'' d.o.b (Dance or Band)'', competing against NEOZ Band (later known as Honeyst). They later won the show with their first song "K.O.", which was later featured in the ''Feeling Sensation'' single album. Rowoon
Kim Seok-woo (born August 7, 1996), better known by his stage name Rowoon, is a South Korean singer, actor and model. He is a member of the K-pop boy band SF9 as a lead vocalist. As an actor, he is known for his roles in television series ''Extraordinary You'' (2019), ''She Would Never Know'' (2021), ''The King's Affection'' (2021), and '' Tomorrow'' (2022). Kang Chan-hee (강찬희; born January 17, 2000), also known by his stage name Chani, is a South Korean singer and actor. FNC Entertainment (; stands for "fish and cake") is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2006 by South Korean singer and record producer Han Seong-ho. The label operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. The label previously known as FNC Music, only managed musicians but later changed its name to FNC Entertainment in 2012 and began to broaden their business field of entertainment. Honeyst () was a South Korean pop rock band formed by FNC Entertainment in 2017. The band consists of Oh Seung-seok (drummer), Kim Chul-min (main vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist), Seo Dong-sung (leader, vocalist, bassist), and Kim Hwan (guitarist, vocalist).
