SETI (The Kovenant Album)
''SETI'' is the fourth studio album by Norwegian metal band The Kovenant, released in 2003 through Nuclear Blast. Album history With their second Norwegian Grammy, the band toured Europe and the United States to promote the album. While in the United States the band found a new member, Angel, who would play guitars with Psy Coma; he is not of the black metal scene, but is influenced by bands such as Whitesnake. Deciding to take a break from recording music the band went their separate ways after they returned to Europe. During 2002 a remastered version of ''In Times Before the Light'' and a re-release of ''Nexus Polaris'' took place. By November 2002 the band decided to record a fourth album. In 2003, the new album ''SETI'' was released and the band decided to do more touring than last time. Stian Hinderson
Nagash or Lex Icon (real name Stian André Hinderson; born Stian André Arnesen, 7 May 1978) is a Norwegian black metal musician. He plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and does vocals. Biography Nagash began writing music in 1992, together with Fafnir and Glaurung for a project called Troll. Fafnir and Glaurung soon left the band, but Nagash continued Troll as a solo project, playing guitar and keyboard. Wanting to be in a band and "express himself on all levels", he founded the band Covenant together with Amund Svensson in 1993. (However, after having released two albums, they had to change the name to The Kovenant due to a Swedish band already called Covenant). Gaining a good reputation in the black metal scene, Nagash was recruited as bass player for Dimmu Borgir in 1996. In 1999, he left Dimmu Borgir to concentrate on his career with The Kovenant. Joachim Luetke
Joachim Luetke (born 1957) is a German cross-media artist. He is mostly known for his artwork for bands such as Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator, Marilyn Manson, Meshuggah, Sopor Aeternus and The Ensemble of Shadows and Rage. His art has also been published in book form and compared to that of H. R. Giger. Jan Axel Blomberg
Jan Axel Blomberg (born 2 August 1969) is a Norwegian heavy metal drummer known professionally as Hellhammer. He is best known as the drummer of Mayhem, which he joined in 1988. In 1987 Blomberg formed the avant-garde black metal band Arcturus (under the name Mortem) with Steinar Sverd Johnsen, which broke up in April 2007 and reunited in 2011. He named himself after the Swiss extreme metal band Hellhammer. Praised as a talented musician, Blomberg is a three-time winner of the Spellemannprisen award. Apoptygma Berzerk (; commonly abbreviated to APB or APOP) is a Norwegian musical group.
