SEAT Tribu
The SEAT Tribu was a compact SUV concept car that was built by the Spain, Spanish automotive industry, automaker SEAT, SEAT, S.A. in the autumn of 2007. Overview The first time when the name ''Tribu'' was used by SEAT was at the Frankfurt Motor Show#2007, 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show for the concept vehicle, concept car, which featured three car door, doors and four bucket seats. The concept SUV was the first project designed entirely by Luc Donckerwolke, the former designer for Lamborghini, who in September 2005 was appointed the Design Director for SEAT. Official designs for SEAT of the production model were submitted to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in August 2008, and subsequently internet leak, leaked. Frankfurt Motor Show
The International Motor Show Germany or International Mobility Show Germany, in German known as the ''Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung'' (''IAA'' – International Automobile Exhibition), is one of the world's largest mobility shows. It consists of two separate fairs, that subdivided in 1991. While the ''IAA MOBILITY'' displays passenger vehicles, motorcycles and bikes, the ''IAA TRANSPORTATION'' specializes in commercial vehicles. Before the separation, the show was held solely at the Messe Frankfurt. The Geneva International Motor Show is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show is hosted at the Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport. The Salon is organised by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles, and is considered an important major international auto show. First held in 1905, the Salon has hosted almost all major internal combustion engined models in the history of the automobile, along with benzene- and steam-powered cars from the beginning of the century. In the automotive industry, rebadging is a form of market segmentation used by automobile manufacturers around the world. To allow for product differentiation without designing or engineering a new model or brand (at high cost or risk), a manufacturer creates a distinct automobile by applying a new "badge" or trademark (brand, logo, or manufacturer's name/make/marque) to an existing product line. Rebadging is also known as '' rebranding'' and ''badge engineering''; the latter is an intentionally ironic misnomer, in that little or no actual engineering takes place.
