Sportclub Buitenveldert is a Dutch football (soccer) club from the neighborhood Buitenveldert in Amsterdam. It was founded in 1974. Hoofdklasse Women
The Vierde Divisie, formerly known as Hoofdklasse () is the second-highest league of amateur football in the Netherlands, and the fifth tier in general. Background The league is divided into two sections: Saturday and Sunday. This is a result of the traditional pillarisation ( nl, verzuiling), the segregation of Dutch society. The ''Saturday'' clubs are mainly Protestant Christian clubs, who were not allowed to play on Sunday. The ''Sunday'' clubs were in general Catholic and working class clubs, whose players had to work on Saturday and therefore could only play on Sunday. Although the pillarisation ended in the 1960s and 1970s, the clubs and the league have maintained this division. Derde Klasse
The ('Third Class') is the eighth tier of football in the Netherlands and the sixth tier of Dutch amateur football. The league is divided into 44 divisions, 20 played on Saturday and 24 on Sunday. Each division consists of 14 teams. The champions are promoted to the Tweede Klasse, the teams finishing 13th and 14th are relegated to the Vierde Klasse. Each season is divided into a number of periods ( nl, periodes). The winner of these periods qualify for promotion playoffs, provided they finish in the top nine overall in the season. Buitenveldert is a neighborhood of Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is considered the modern Jewish quarter of Amsterdam with its Synagogue, Jewish schools, nursing homes, shops and restaurants. History From the Middle Ages the 'Binnendijksche Buitenveldertse' polder in the rural Amstelland region was part of the Nieuwer-Amstel municipality. In 1921, the Buitenveldert polder was annexed by the city of Amsterdam. Since then, the Kalfjeslaan on the southside of Buitenveldert has been the city limit. Hoofdklasse (women)
The Hoofdklasse is the second highest league of amateur women's football in the Netherlands, and the third tier in general. When the Hoofdklasse was created in 1973, the league was the top level league of the Netherlands, and the winner was named the national champion. After the 2006/07 season, the professional Eredivisie was established as the top level league which now plays out the championship. There was no relegation and promotion between those two leagues. In the 2011/12 season the Hoofdklasse became a third level league, as above it the Topklasse was created. The Hoffdklasse thus is the second highest amateur league and now promotes teams to the Topklasse. Format From 1973 to 1994, the Hoofdklasse was Championship Playoff between regional champions. Topklasse (women)
The Topklasse is the highest league of amateur women's football in the Netherlands, and the second tier in general. In the 2011/12 season the Topklasse was created and thus the former second level Hoofdklasse became a third level league. Format The teams play each other two times over the course of the season. The last two teams get relegated into the Hoofdklasse, while the third and fourth-last teams play a relegation play-off. There is no promotion as of now.
