SAS Masters (Ladies European Tour)
The SAS Ladies Masters was a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour. It was played in Norway between 2002 and 2009, in July or August each year. The tournament was the first LET event to be held in Norway. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) became title sponsor in 2006. It was a constituent of the Volvo Cross Country Challenge. Samantha Head
Samantha Head (born 28 February 1973) is an English professional golfer with two Ladies European Tour (LET) wins. Head was born in Ascot, Berkshire and her twin sister Johanna is also a professional golfer. She joined the Ladies European Tour in 1995 and won two individual tournaments on it, the Ladies Italian Open and South African Ladies Masters. Ladies Norwegian Open
The Ladies Norwegian Open is a professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour and featured on the LET Access Series schedule in 2015 and 2016. Highlights The 2015 edition saw a record-breaking 14-hole sudden-death playoff between Johanna Gustavsson of Sweden and Natalia Escuriola of Spain. Both players recorded an opening bogey on the first playoff hole, the 368 yard par-4 9th at Larvik Golf Club, which they played three times before alternating between the 1st and 9th holes until the 10th extra hole. They then moved back to the 9th hole until Gustavsson was able to break the deadlock on the 14th extra hole with a birdie three. In 2016, the final day featured a special format, as it was played alongside the men's Norwegian Open over the Skjeberg course. Dame Laura Jane Davies, (born 5 October 1963) is an English female professional golfer. She has achieved the status of her nation's most accomplished female golfer of modern times, being the first non-American to finish at the top of the LPGA money list as well as winning the Ladies European Tour (LET) Order of Merit a record seven times: in 1985, 1986, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2004 and 2006. Nicole Maree "Nikki" Garrett (born 8 January 1984) is an Australian professional golfer. Garrett turned professional in late 2005, and qualified for the 2006 Ladies European Tour (LET). Suzann Pettersen
Suzann Pettersen (born 7 April 1981) is a retired Norwegian professional golfer. She played mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour, and was also a member of the Ladies European Tour. Her career best world ranking was second and she held that position several times, most recently from August 2011 until February 2012. The 2007 Ladies European Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place from January through December 2007. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tour featured 24 official money events with prize money totalling more than €10.5 million, as well as the Women's World Cup of Golf and the biannual Solheim Cup. Sophie Gustafson won the Order of Merit with earnings of €222,081.47, while Bettina Hauert was voted Player's Player of the Year.
