Sławosz Uznański
Sławosz Uznański (Polish: ; born 12 April 1984 in Łódź) is a Polish engineer working at European Space Agency (ESA) as project astronaut since 2023 and formerly at CERN. Early life and education Uznański was born and raised in Łódź, where he attended the 8th Adam Asnyk High School. In 2008, he graduated with honours with master's degree from the Technical University of Łódź and from the University of Nantes; in the same year also received Diplôme d'Ingénieur from the Polytech Nantes. In 2011, he received a doctor's degree with distinction from the University of the Mediterranean Aix-Marseille II for thesis on radiation-tolerant designs for space applications. Career During his doctorate, he worked at STMicroelectronics manufacturing facility in Crolles, France. Mirosław Hermaszewski
Mirosław Hermaszewski (; 15 September 1941 – 12 December 2022) was a Polish cosmonaut, fighter plane pilot, and Polish Air Force officer. He became the first, and at the time of his death in December 2022, the only, Polish national in space when he flew aboard the Soviet Soyuz 30 spacecraft in 1978. He was the 89th human to reach outer space. International Space Station

2022 European Space Agency Astronaut Group
The 2022 European Space Agency Astronaut Group is the latest class of the European Astronaut Corps. The selection recruited five "career" astronauts, 11 "reserve" and one "astronaut with a physical disability". It is the fourth European Space Agency (ESA) recruitment campaign and the first since 2008 and over 22 thousand applications were received. European Astronaut Corps
The European Astronaut Corps is a unit of the European Space Agency (ESA) that selects, trains, and provides astronauts as crew members on U.S. and Russian space missions. The corps has 13 active members, able to serve on the International Space Station (ISS). The European Astronaut Corps is based at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany. Large Hadron Collider
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and highest-energy particle collider.
