FollaCell is a paper mill located in the village of Follafoss in Steinkjer Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The mill produces 130,000 tonnes of CTMP pulp per year, and is owned by Mayr-Melnhof. History Folla Bruk AS traditionally owned of land in the old municipality of Verran, including of productive forest. A pulp mill was established at Follafoss in 1908. Bjørn Lyng
Bjørn Lyng (8 July 1925 – 12 October 2006) was a Norwegian businessman, investor and industrialist. He was the founder of Lyng Gruppen AS, a holding company with over twenty subsidiaries. He is also associated with his development of vacation resorts located in Arguineguín along the south coast of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. Verran is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1901 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was divided between Steinkjer Municipality and Indre Fosen Municipality. It was part of the Innherred region. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Malm. Other villages in Verran included Follafoss, Sela, Verrabotn, and Verrastranda.
