Sítio Do Picapau Amarelo (comics)
''Sítio do Picapau Amarelo'' was a Brazilian comic book series based on the eponymous novel series Sítio do Picapau Amarelo by Monteiro Lobato. It was originally released in 1977 on the success of the TV series produced by Rede Globo, comic books were published by the publisher RGE who would later become Editora Globo. It continued to be sold until 1979 when the characters Emília, Pedrinho and Visconde now has his own comics replacing the Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, but the comics only lasted two years being sold, and in 1981 the Sítio do Picapau Amarelo returned to be published. The comics being published remained until 1984, two years before the TV series is no longer in production. Only in 2006 they returned the comic books to be published, this time with the seal of Editora Globo spent besides being based so far by recent TV series produced in 2001 also by Rede Globo. ''Sítio do Picapau Amarelo'' (Portuguese title: ''Pirlimpimpim'') is a Brazilian children's television series, based on the work of Monteiro Lobato, adapted by Márcio Trigo and Roberto Talma. It was the fifth television adaptation of the work, after the first version shown by Rede Tupi between 1952 and 1963, the second version shown by TV Cultura in 1964, the third version shown by Band between 1967 and 1969 and the fourth version shown by Globo itself between 1977 and 1986. It was produced and shown by TV Globo from 2001 to 2007, After its original airing on TV Globo, the first 4 seasons of the series were aired by Futura channel from 8 December 2008, the series was also aired by Viva and TV Cultura channel in 2013. Guia Dos Quadrinhos
Guia dos Quadrinhos (''Comics Guide'') is a Brazilian comic book database created with the objective of cataloging all comics published in Brazil, whether graphic novels, magazines, fanzines or independent publications. History Edson Diogo, creator of Guia dos Quadrinhos, was responsible for the "price guide" section of the Brazilian edition of Wizard magazine in 1990s. The difficulty of obtaining reliable information about Brazilian comics at the time inspired him to create the database. The first version of Guia dos Quadrinhos was aired in 2006 and was updated manually by Diogo after receiving information sent by readers to him. In 2007, after suggestion of journalist Ricardo Soneto, the project became a collaborative database and had its official release. Structure The Guia dos Quadrinhos database records all information about Brazilian comics, such as date of publication, publisher, genre, size and price.
