Sérgio Manoel Júnior, commonly known simply as Sérgio Manoel (born 2 March 1972), is a former professional association footballer who played as an attacking midfielder for several Campeonato Brasileiro Série A clubs, and the Brazil national football team, Brazil national team. The 1995 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A was the 39th edition of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Overview It was contested by 24 teams, and Botafogo won the championship, the club's second Série A title in history. Of the 24 participating teams, only two were relegated, Paysandu and União São João. Also only the first two teams from the Série B in 1995 would be qualified to the Série A in 1996. Taça Guanabara
The Taça Guanabara, or Guanabara Cup, is a football tournament organized annually since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. In its first four editions (1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968), the Taça Guanabara was a tournament in its own right, unrelated to the Rio de Janeiro league, and the winner would represent Rio de Janeiro in the Taça Brasil de Futebol national league competition.
