Sébastien Robillard
Sébastien Robillard (born October 19, 1981 in Sussex, New Brunswick) is a Canadian curler from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. He currently plays third on Team Kyler Kleibrink. He has played competitively in three provinces in his career, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia. Career Juniors Robillard won the first ever Ontario provincial Bantam boys championship in 1998. In 2002 he won the now defunct provincial junior mixed championship skipping a team of Julie Reddick, Kevin Flewwelling and Leigh Armstrong. Men's After a few seasons of skipping teams out of Ontario and one season playing second for Heath McCormick, Robillard played lead on the Quebec-based Dwayne Fowler rink for the 2006-07 curling season. Masters Of Curling
The Masters is a Grand Slam event on the men's and women's World Curling Tour. It is the second Grand Slam event and first major on the women's and men's tour. The event is an amalgamation of the men's World Cup of Curling and the women's Sun Life Classic. There was also a men's Sun Life Classic, which has been discontinued. The Sun Life Classic was an annual WCT event (but not a Grand Slam event) held every November at the Paris Curling Club, Brant Curling Club and the Brantford Golf & Country Club in the Brantford, Ontario area. Codey Maus (born November 16, 1985 in Owen Sound, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Tara, Ontario. Maus is a three-time provincial junior champion and one-time provincial mixed champion. Career Juniors Maus won his first provincial junior title in 2002, playing third for the Jeff Armstrong rink. The team represented Ontario at the 2002 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The team finished the event with a 5-7 record, in 10th place. Maus won another provincial junior title in 2005, playing third for Mark Bice. The team would go on to win a silver medal at the 2005 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Maus won his third provincial junior title in 2006. 2018 Ontario Tankard
The 2018 Ontario Tankard, known as the Dairy Farmers of Ontario Tankard for sponsorship reasons is the 2018 provincial men's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held from January 31 to February 4 at the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville, Ontario. The winning John Epping team represented Ontario at the 2018 Tim Hortons Brier in Regina, Saskatchewan. The event had a triple knockout format, rather than the traditional round robin event as done in previous years. The number of qualified teams increased from 10 to 12. Qualification process 12 teams will qualify from two regional qualifiers (three each), a challenge round (three teams), the winner of the Colts competition, plus the top two southern Ontario teams in the CTRS standings (as of December 10, 2017). CurlON (formerly the Ontario Curling Association) is the governing body of curling in Southern Ontario. Northern Ontario is governed by the Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA). Chris Gardner (curler)
Christopher James Gardner (born March 25, 1985 in Ottawa) is a Canadian curler who competes mainly in Ontario. Career Gardner skipped his bantam mixed team to a provincial championship in 2002, and the following year he won the provincial junior mixed title. Gardner's men's team, which he skips, has had some success on the provincial curling tour circuit. In 2009, they made their first provincial championship, finishing with a 3-6 record. He played in his second provincial championship in 2010, finishing in last with a 1-9 record. Brent Pierce
Brent Pierce (born July 7, 1969) is a Canadian curler and coach from New Westminster, British Columbia. Career Pierce is a 1987 provincial junior champion skip, and a four-time provincial champion, former national and world champion playing third for Greg McAulay. Pierce last represented BC at the Brier in 2009 with the Sean Geall team. Pierce's 1987 Vancouver team of Darin Fenton, Bryan Miki, and Ross Graham won the provincial championships, qualifying them for the 1987 Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. They finished the round-robin with a 7–4 record. This qualified them for the playoffs, where the lost in the semifinals to Team Ontario, skipped by Wayne Middaugh. Sean Geall
Sean Geall ( ); (born January 29, 1975 in Surrey, British Columbia) is a Canadian curler from Tappen, British Columbia. Curling career To date, Geall has two provincial championships to his credit, and thus two Brier appearances. Geall and his Royal City Curling Club rink of Brent Pierce, Kevin Recksiedler and Mark Olson won the 2009 Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men's Provincials by defeating Jay Peachey 8-7 in the final. This qualified the team to represent British Columbia at the 2009 Tim Hortons Brier. At the Brier, Geall's team finished the round robin with a 6-5 record, missing the playoffs.
