Harald Sæther
Harald Sæther (born 9 May 1946) is a Norwegian composer with a diploma (MA) from Grieg Academy (2008) . He is member of the Norwegian Society of Composers and New Music Composers Group (NMK) where he was chairman from 2009 to 2011. Biography Education Sæther is basically a self-taught musician from the early 1960s, with guitar - later electric bass - as his main instrument. In 1963 he, along with three other boys, formed a rock and roll group - The Spiritual Man Group - in Oppdal, Norway. This group disbanded in 1966, and in 1967, he and four other boys formed the hard rock band Hapax Legomenon which was disbanded in the summer of 1970. In 1971 he started his musical education at the Veitvet Music Conservatory in Oslo, with the violin as his main instrument. After three years at this institution he continued his studies as a musician and music teacher at Trondheim Conservatory of Music in Trondheim, until the spring of 1977. Jan Valentin Sæther
Jan Valentin Sæther (18 March 1944 – 11 January 2018) was a Norwegian figurative painter, sculptor and gnostic priest. He was professor of figurative painting at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo between 1996 and 2002. Sæther received his education from the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (1963–65) and the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts, painting under the direction of professor Reidar Aulie (1965–66) and sculpture under professor Per Palle Storm (1968–71). He has presented numerous exhibitions, mainly in Norway and California. Gjøran Sæther (December 19, 1982), also known by the pseudonym Proteque, is a Norwegian artist and painter. He is active in the digital art scene with music and graphic, and as a painter in traditional art. In 2017, he joined the blackened death metal band Hateful Transgression as keyboardist. Morten Sæther (born 13 May 1959) is a Norwegian cyclist. He won a bronze medal at the 1979 UCI Road World Championships in the 100 km team time trial. He missed the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow due to their boycott by Norway, but competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, where he placed fourth in the individual road race. Andrine Sæther (born 7 September 1964) is a Norwegian actress. She had her début at the National Theatre in 1995, and has worked there since. Here she has acted in roles such as "Varja" in Chekhov's ''The Cherry Orchard'', and "Bolette" in Ibsen's '' The Lady from the Sea''. Bjarne Berg-Sæther (14 April 1919 – 5 August 2009) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Early life He was born in Tjeldsund as the son of coastal pilot Berg Sæther (1876–1948) and wife Magna Toresen (1881–1952). He was educated in England from 1939 in languages and economics.
