Sången Skall Klinga
"Sången skall klinga" or "Sången ska klinga" is a song written by Lasse Holm, and originally recorded by Wizex, with Kikki Danielsson on lead vocals for the 1979 album '' Some Girls & Trouble Boys''. The song depicts a woman who feels new-born when meeting someone new and following her. The song became a major Svensktoppen hit, staying at the chart for ten weeks from 3 February through 6 April 1980, and after two second-places it topped the chart for the third week. In 2008, the song became available on the Kikki Danielsson compilation album '' Kikkis bästa''. In 1980, the song was recorded by Ekelunds for the album '' Dansglädje 2'', and in 1983, Thorleifs Thorleifs was a Swedish dansband, formed in 1962 in Norrhult, Kronoberg County, Sweden and led by Thorleif Torstensson. Wizex
Wizex is a Swedish dansband formed in Osby in 1973. It purchased the rights to the name from a band that started as ''Ulrik Wittmans Kvintett'' in 1957''.'' When Ulrik Wittman left the band in 1963 they started to use the name ''Wizex''. When read out the name sounds like "The Six of Us", "vi sex", in Swedish, and it was six persons left in the band when they changed the name. Today's band had six founders and was allowed to purchase the name, and hence use 1973 as the starting point. Wizex broke through in 1977 when they performed on nationwide TV-show '' Nygammalt'' and got its first top ten on the Swedish charts same year with the song ''Vagabond.'' The following year they finished 2nd in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1978. ''Kikkis bästa'' ( en, Kikki's Best) was released on February 27, 2008, and is a double compilation album by Kikki Danielsson. It peaked at #15 at the Swedish album chart. 2008 was 35 years since Kikki Danielsson became lead vocalist in Wizex, and 30 years since her break-through at the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1978. The album consists of well-known hits, but also rarer recordings, such as ''Right Night for Loving'' (''Bra vibrationer'' with lyrics in English, which earlier had only been released outside Sweden and not been available on CD.
