São Nicolau Super Cup
The São Nicolau Super Cup is a regional super cup competition played during the season in São Nicolau Island, Cape Verde. The super cup competition is organized by the São Nicolau Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de São Nicolau de Futebol, ARSNF). Its current champions is Ultramarina Tarrafal which now possess the most titles numbering six. The regional champion competes with the cup champion. If a champion also has a cup title, a cup club who is runner-up qualifies. The 2018 Super Cup will feature the champion Belo Horizonte from Juncalinho and the cup winner Ultramarina Tarrafal. History The first edition took place on November 5, 2006. For several editions, it featured two legs, some of them if a match ended a draw, a second leg was held, it was the only regional super cup in the country that had two legs. The São Nicolau Island Opening Tournament (Portuguese: ''Torneio de Abertura de São Nicolau'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Turnéu di Abertura di San Nikolau''), is an opening tournament competition (equivalent to a league cup) played during the season in the island of São Nicolau, Cape Verde The competition is organized by the São Nicolau Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol de São Nicolau, ARFSN). Some seasons featured rounds of one portion, some seasons featured three rounds and two groups with the top club of each group in the final match. It currently consists of seven rounds, a meeting with another club once. The winner with the most points (sometimes in the final) is the winner. SC Atlético, Belo Horizonte and Ultramarina won the most title numbering three, Talho only won once in 2004. São Nicolau Island Championships
The São Nicolau Island League is a regional championship played in São Nicolau Island, Cape Verde. The winner of the championship plays in Cape Verdean football Championships of each season. The league was formed in the 1980s. The competition is organized by the São Nicolau Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol de São Nicolau, ARFSN). Three clubs has ever won titles, the most is SC Atlético with fourteen, FC Ultramarina with twelve and Desportivo Ribeira Brava with three. Ultramarina won a championship every two years between 2007 and 2017 while Atlético Ribeira Brava won every two years between 2012 and 2016. Its 2018 champion is the next first timer in 27 years and will be FC Belo Horizonte of Juncalinho. The São Nicolau Island Cup (Portuguese: ''Taça da Ilha de São Nicolau'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Tasa da Dja de San Nikolau'') is a cup competition played during the season in the island of São Nicolau, Cape Verde, it consists of all the clubs from all the two regional divisions and are divided into about four rounds. The competition is organized by the São Nicolau Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol de São Nicolau, ARFSN). The cup winner competes in the regional super cup final in the following season, when a cup winner also wins the championship, a runner-up competes, it was done for the first and only time in 2017, before, it was the only regional cup where no cup runner up qualified.
