Manuel de Sá (b. at Vila do Conde, Province Entre-Minho-e-Douro, 1530; d. at Arona, Italy, 30 December 1596) was a Portuguese Jesuit priest, theologian and exegete. History He distinguished himself as a student at the University of Coimbra, and at the age of fifteen joined the Society of Jesus. He soon afterward taught philosophy, first at Coimbra, and next at Gandia, where he also acted as tutor to Francis Borgia, then Duke of Gandia, who was considering joining the Jesuit Order. In 1557, he became one of the early professors of the Roman College, and commented for two years on the prophecies of prophet Osee and the ''Summa'' of Thomas Aquinas. José Pedro Malheiro de Sá (; born 17 January 1993) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Portugal national team. He started his career with Marítimo B, making his debut with the first team in 2013, before signing for FC Porto in 2016. Gustavo Nery de Sá da Silva (born 22 July 1977) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Career In February 2014, it was announced Nery would join Bundesliga club Werder Bremen on a four-year contract from São Paulo in the summer. The transfer fee to be paid to São Paulo was reported as €500,000 or €600,000. He missed the beginning of training in the summer due to being called up to the Brazil national team. He was later kept out of action by a hand injury. Francisco Pedro Manuel Sá (born 25 October 1945, in Las Lomitas, Formosa) is a retired Argentine football defender. Sá holds the record for the most Copa Libertadores titles, he won six; 4 consecutive titles with Club Atlético Independiente between 1972 and 1975, and a further 2 with Boca Juniors in 1977 and 1978. Career Sá started his career with Central Goya in the lower leagues, he then had a spell with Huracán de Corrientes before joining River Plate in 1969. In 1971 Sá joined Independiente where he was part of the team that won the Metropolitano 1971 title followed by an unprecedented four consecutive Copa Libertadores titles. He also won the first of his two Intercontinental Cup title in 1973. Francisco de Sá de Miranda (28 August 1481 – 17 May 1558; ) was a Portuguese poet of the Renaissance. Life Sá de Miranda was born in Coimbra, the son of a canon Gonçalo Mendes de Sá belonging to the ancient and noble family of Sá and Inês de Melo. His brother, Mem de Sá, was the third governor of the Portuguese colony of Brazil. Sá de Miranda passed his early years by the banks of the river Mondego, considered a source of inspiration to many other poets. Francisco Manuel Lumbrales de Sá Carneiro, GCTE, GCC, GCL (; 19 July 19344 December 1980) was a Portuguese politician, Prime Minister of Portugal for most of 1980, and founder of the Social Democratic Party. He only held office of Prime Minister for eleven months, dying in a plane crash with his partner, "Snu" Abecassis (born Ebba Merethe Seidenfaden), on 4 December 1980. Estácio de Sá (1520 – February 20, 1567) was a Portuguese soldier and officer. Sá travelled to the colony of Brazil on the orders of the Portuguese crown to wage war on the French colonists commanded by Nicolas Durand de Villegaignon. These French colonists had established themselves in 1555 at Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro, in a settlement known as ''France Antarctique''.
