Szandra Lajtos
Szandra Lajtos (pronounced ; born 22 July 1986 in Szeged) is a Hungarian short track speed skater. Her first major championship was the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, where she participated at the age of 15, being the youngest member of the Hungarian delegation, and also the youngest competitor in short track speed skating. Lajtos ran in two distances, finishing 28th in 500 metres and 19th in the 1,000 metres event. Among her best results are a silver medal in the 3000 metres relay from the 2011 European Championship and two bronze medals in the same event from 2006 and 2012. Spišská Nová Ves (; hu, Igló; german: (Zipser) Neu(en)dorf) is a town in the Košice Region of Slovakia. The town is located southeast of the High Tatras in the Spiš region, and lies on both banks of the Hornád River. It is the biggest town of the Spišská Nová Ves District. FISU World University Games Bronze Medalists For Hungary
The Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU, en, International University Sports Federation) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25. It was founded in 1949 as the world governing body of national university sports organizations and currently has 174 member associations (National University Sport Federations) from five continents. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The Universiade is referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games; however, this latter term can also refer to competitions for sub-University grades students. In July 2020 as part of a new branding system by the FISU, it was stated that the Universiade will be officially branded as the FISU World University Games.
