Szabolcs Zubai
Szabolcs Zubai (born 31 March 1984) is a Hungarian handballer for Orosházi FKSE-LINAMAR. He made his full international debut on 27 December 2004 against Slovakia. He participated in his first major international tournament two year later, finishing thirteenth at the 2006 European Championship. He took part in further five European Championships (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016), four World Championships (2009, 2011, 2013, 2017) and an Olympics (2012). Mezőkövesd
Mezőkövesd is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Northern Hungary. It lies from Miskolc and from Eger. History The area has been inhabited since the Great Migration. It is likely that the first Hungarian settlement was formed here shortly after the conquest of Hungary, but in 1275 in a church document it was mentioned as a deserted place. It is likely that the village was destroyed during the Mongol invasion of Hungary. In the 13th century, Mezőkövesd was the southernmost town belonging to the Diósgyőr estate. In 1464 the town got a seal and privileges from King Matthias. The name of the ''Matyó'' people, who inhabited the town and the area, is likely to have come from his name. In 1544 the town was occupied by the Turks. In 1552 – in the year when the Castle of Eger was under siege by the Turks – Mezőkövesd was completely destroyed. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. If happens so, then the runners-up take the opportunity to represent Hungary in the forthcoming continental event for cup winners. Winners In 1954, 1955 and 1957, the cup was held on a grand scale. The Hungarian Order of Merit ( hu, Magyar Érdemrend) is the fourth highest State Order of Hungary. Founded in 1991, the order is a revival of an original order founded in 1946 and abolished in 1949. Its origins, however, can be traced to the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Hungary which existed from 1922 until 1946. In 2011 its official name changed from Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary to Hungarian Order of Merit in accordance with the new Hungarian Constitution.
