Synergy Television (Synergy TV) is the first music oriented channel, serving Trinidad and Tobago Trinidad and Tobago (, ), officially the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is the southernmost island country in the Caribbean. Consisting of the main islands Trinidad and Tobago, and numerous much smaller islands, it is situated south of .... The channel was founded by Peter C. Lewis former Xtatik band member and host of the highly popular Pete's Picks which also airs on Synergy TV. The channel airs music videos of local and regional artists. It showcases many local entertainers as well as local designers and events. It is available on Channel 15 on the Flow Trinidad cable service in Trinidad. Xtatik
Xtatik is a locally and well-known Trinidad and Tobago Soca band led by Machel Montano. History The band evolved from Pranasonic Express, which was formed in 1984 in Port of Spain.Thompson, Dave (2002) ''Reggae & Caribbean Music'', Backbeat Books, , p. 300-301 The original line-up was (then 9-year-old) Machel Montano (vocals), Joseph Rivers (guitar), Vincent Rivers (bass guitar), Derwin Vallie (keyboards), Sterling Paul (trombone), Oral Rodriguez (saxophone), Marlon Roach (trumpet), Rodney Daniel (trumpet), Gregory Pegus (drums), and Darryl Henry (percussion). ''De Scene'' () is a one-hour show which airs on Synergy TV in Trinidad and Tobago Trinidad and Tobago (, ), officially the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is the southernmost island country in the Caribbean. Consisting of the main islands Trinidad and Tobago, and numerous much smaller islands, it is situated south of ..., hosted by Keisha Marie Charles. It is a music video countdown show which airs on weekdays at 6pm. Viewers are asked to text the codes of their favourite videos and this influences which videos will appear on the countdown and in what position. The videos that appear on ''De Scene'' are usually those of local and regional artists. While hosting the video countdown, Keisha Marie Charles also visits places of interest in Trinidad and Tobago while interviewing local and regional celebrities, performers and members of the public during the taping of the countdown.
