Christina Noelle Jones (born September 17, 1987, in Missoula, Montana) is an American competitor in synchronized swimming. She grew up in Fremont, California and lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jones swam with Andrea Nott in the duet event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, placing fifth. She also participated on the American team that placed fifth in synchronized team. Bill May (synchronized Swimmer)
William May (born January 17, 1979) is an American Synchronized swimming, synchronized swimmer. Performing primarily in duets, May won several national and international events. Because of his sex, May was not allowed to compete in the 2004 Summer Olympics. Early career May was born in Syracuse, New York. He became interested in synchronized swimming when he was 10 years old while living in Syracuse, after watching his sister in a beginning class. He explained why he became involved, "I did competitive swimming there and the synchro class was right after it, so we couldn't go home until she was done. It was either try it with her or sit outside the pool and watch her, so my mom told me to try it, just to be in the water and be doing something." Aleksandr Evgenyevich Maltsev (russian: Александр Евгеньевич Мальцев, born 22 June 1995) is a 4-time world champion and 6-time European champion in artistic swimming (mixed duet) and a founder of men's artistic swimming in Russia. Aleksandr is the most titled male artistic swimmer in the world. Darina Ryashidovna Valitova (russian: Дарина Ряшидовна Валитова; born 9 February 1997) is a Russian competitor in Solo and Mixed Duet synchronized swimming. Giorgio Minisini (born 9 March 1996) is an Italian synchronised swimmer. He won two bronze medals in the inaugural mixed duet competition at the 2015 World Championships. The 16th FINA World Aquatics Championships, FINA World Championships (russian: Чемпионат мира по водным видам спорта 2015), also Aquatics 2015, were held in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015. Russia hosted this event for the first time. The number of participating national teams (190), athletes (2,400) and the number of medals (75) were the most ever amongst these championships. This was the first time the World Aquatics Championships partially overlaps with the FINA World Masters Championships that have a number of athletes (near 5,500), countries (110) and medals (635) which are the most ever also.
