Sylwia Ejdys-Tomaszewska (born 15 July 1984 in Bogatynia) is a Polish middle distance runner who specialises in the 1500 metres. She competed in the event at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Her personal best for the distance is 4:02.30 minutes. Ejdys had a share in the women's U23 team silver medal at the 2006 European Cross Country Championships alongside Katarzyna Kowalska. She claimed her first major win over 1500 metres at the 2007 European Cup. She was the bronze medallist at the 2007 World Student Games and became the 1500 m military champion at the 2007 Military World Games in October. She represented Poland at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but did not make it past the first round of the 1500 m. Sylwia Gruchała (born 6 November 1981 in Gdynia, Pomorskie) is a Polish fencer. Biography In the team foil she won medals at the world championships in 1998 (bronze), 1999 (silver), 2002 (silver), 2003 (gold) and 2007 (gold) as well as an Olympic silver medal in 2000. In Individual Foil she won a silver medal at the 2003 World Championship as well as an Olympic bronze medal in 2004. She is a soldier in the 3rd Command Support Battalion of the Polish Land Forces stationed in Warsaw. Gruchała is also part of the Leon Paul team. In 2009, she posed for Polish erotic magazine CKM. Career At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, she finished 24th in the 30 km, 28th in the 10 km, and 34th in the 7.5 km + 7.5 km double pursuit event. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, Jaśkowiec finished sixth in the 4 × 5 km relay, 31st in the individual sprint, 31st in the 7.5 km + 7.5 km double pursuit, and did not start in the 30 km event. Her best World Cup finish was ninth in the 4 × 5 km relay in France in 2008 while her best individual finish was 23rd twice. Queens is a Polish girl trio formed in February 2005 by Polish Music Agency. The group is one of the best known girl bands in Poland. After a minor success with their debut album the group started touring, but illnesses caused several shows to be cancelled. The group was then recast, with only Monika Niedek remaining from the original members. The new lineup's first single, "We Are The Queens", was finally released in early 2007, but the song didn't gain much success. A bit later, when the video was recorded, Queens did a short promotional campaign and decided to take a short break. After the break, both the whole group and the Polish Music Agency decided to remix and re-release the last single.
