Syed Hussain
Syed Hussain (born 16 July 1922) is an Indian former politician who was Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, and Chairman of the Legislative Council of Jammu and Kashmir. Hussain was born on 16 July 1922, in ancestral house in Mohalla Mir Maidan in Dooru—Near Verinag, District Anantnag. He holds a Bachelor of Arts A(Kashmir University); Bachelor of Law LB ( Aligarh Muslim University); Mufti (Honours; in Persian and Arabic) Kashmir University Hussain married Farkhundah Begum on 1 October 1940; they have four daughters. Verinag
Verinag ( is a town named after and famous for the Verinag spring and Mughal garden, near Anantnag, Anantnag city in Anantnag district of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is a notified area committee with tehsil status (Shahabad Bala Verinag) and is about 26 kilometers away from Anantnag and approximately 78 kilometres south-east from Srinagar which is the summer capital of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Verinag is also the first tourist spot of Kashmir Valley when travelling by road from Jammu, the winter capital of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir towards Srinagar. Anantnag (/ə'nʌntna:g/ or /-nɑːg/ ), also called Islamabad, is the administrative headquarters of the Anantnag district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir. It is located at a distance of 53 kilometres (33 miles) from the union territory's capital Srinagar.
