Syed Esa Alwee
Dato' Syed Esa bin Alwee was a Malaysian politician. He was a prominent Malay leader during the British colonial period and the subsequent struggle for independence. He became the second Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the Malaysian Parliament in 1964. Syed Esa was also a Scout, and was Chief Commissioner of Scouts, the administrative head of the Malaysian Scouting Association, from 1963 to 1968. Biography He received his secondary education at English College Johore Bahru. Syed Esa was vice-president of the Peninsular Malay Movement, Johor branch (PMSJ) which organised a historic rally against the Malayan Union in Batu Pahat on 12 February 1946. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Scouting
Scouting, also known as the Scout Movement, is a worldwide youth movement employing the Scout method, a program of informal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports. Another widely recognized movement characteristic is the Scout uniform, by intent hiding all differences of social standing in a country and encouraging equality, with neckerchief and campaign hat or comparable headwear. Mohamad Noah Omar
Mohamed Noah bin Omar ( Jawi: محمد نوح بن عمر; 13 August 1897 – 6 September 1991) was a Malaysian politician. He was one of the leading figures who founded the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and became the first Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat. Early life Noah Omar was born in Bandar Maharani, Muar, Johor on 13 August 1897. He is a descendant of the 17th century Bugis Raja Chempa. His ancestors were the aristocratic Orang Kaya of Muar. He attended the Syrian Protestant College in Beirut, Lebanon, after which he acquired the nickname "Noah Beirut". After returning, he worked as a lorry driver and clerk before joining the Johor civil service. The Batu Pahat District is a district in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It lies southeast of Muar, southwest of Kluang, northwest of Pontian, south of Segamat and Tangkak District.
