Sydney Hinam
Sydney Hinam (29 August 1898 – 16 August 1982) was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Cardiff RFC and Glamorgan Police RFC, as a flanker, i.e. number 6 or 7, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Glamorgan, and at club level for Rochdale Hornets, as a , i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.Robert Gate (1986). Pontypool ( cy, Pont-y-pŵl ) is a town and the administrative centre of the county borough of Torfaen, within the historic boundaries of Monmouthshire in South Wales. It has a population of 28,970. Location It is situated on the Afon Lwyd river in the county borough of Torfaen.
