Sycamore High School (SHS) is a four-year public high school in Sycamore, Illinois, United States. It is a member of the Illinois High School Association and a part of Sycamore Community Unit School District #427. Sycamore High School is the only high school in the city, and serves students in grades 9– 12 living in Sycamore and the surrounding areas. Bryan Carter
Bryan Carter (born July 11, 1990 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American drummer, vocalist, composer, arranger, orchestrator and bandleader. Early life and education Bryan Carter was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He was introduced to the drums by his father at the age of two. He began his formal musical training on the violin at the age of four using the Suzuki method. Bryan was raised in Sycamore, Illinois and attended Sycamore High School. The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Lake Kwaza
Lake Kwaza (born 7 November 1993) is an American bobsledder and sprinter. Biography Kwaza was recruited to the American bobsled team in 2017. She competed in track and field as a sprinter at The University of Iowa from 2012 to 2016 and competed in Olympic trials for the United States in 2016 in the 200m. During the 2018–19 Bobsleigh World Cup she was paired with three-time Olympic medallist Elana Meyers acting as the brakewoman of a two-women bobsled. Her best performance to date was a gold medal finish at the 2019 Lake Placid event. She took part in the 2019 World Championships in the two-women event but did not finish having completed only four of the five required runs. Mark Johnston (American Football)
Mark Johnston (born March 4, 1938) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback for five seasons (1960–1964) in the American Football League (AFL) with the Houston Oilers, New York Jets, and the Oakland Raiders. He was an AFL All-Star in 1961, and was with the Oilers in the first three AFL Championship games, winning the title in 1960 and 1961. A native of Sycamore, Illinois, he played college football for the Northwestern Wildcats from 1957 to 1959. In his final season in 1959, coach Ara Parseghian led the Wildcats to 6-0 record and were nationally ranked, defeating Oklahoma, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Notre Dame and Indiana, before dropping their last three games to go 6–3. Sycamore is a city in DeKalb County, Illinois, United States. It has a commercial district based and centered on Illinois Route 64. The population was 18577 at the 2020 census, up from 17,519 at the 2010 census. Sycamore is the county seat of DeKalb County and was named after the sycamore tree.
