Syahrian Abimanyu (born 25 April 1999) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga 1 club Persija Jakarta and the Indonesia national team. Club career Early career Abimanyu started his football career with SSB Jaya Mandiri Bogor soccer school. In 2016, he was sent to Levante in Spain to train with its youth squads. Sriwijaya FC In 2017, Sriwijaya recruited Abimanyu for the 2018 Liga 1 competition but failed to prevent the club from avoiding relegation. Madura United Nonetheless, Madura United signed him to play in the 2019 Liga 1 season. Abimanyu developed into a midfielder with playmaking abilities and precise crosses, winning him attention from Indonesia national under-23 football team coach Indra Sjafri who was preparing a squad for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines. 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship
The 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship was the 15th edition of the AFF U-19 Youth Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation. It was hosted by Myanmar during September 2017. Eleven out of the twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation took part in the tournament featuring two groups of five and six teams. Thailand beat Malaysia 2–0 in the final to secure their fifth regional title. The 2020 AFF Championship (officially AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the 13th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), the 7th and the last edition under the name AFF Suzuki Cup. The final tournament was originally scheduled to run from 23 November to 31 December 2020. However the tournament was postponed and rescheduled at least twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the tournament was first rescheduled to run from 11 April to 8 May 2021 and the schedule later pushed backed further to 5 December 2021 to 1 January 2022. The ASEAN Football Federation Championship (less formally the AFF Championship or AFF Cup), currently known as the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup for sponsorship reason, is the primary association football tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The football tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games was held from 6 to 22 May 2022 in Vietnam. In addition to the host city Hanoi, matches were held in Việt Trì, Nam Định and Cẩm Phả. The men's football tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games was held from 6 – 22 May 2022 in Vietnam. Ten Southeast Asian nations participated in the men's tournament. The group stage and semi-finals were played in Việt Trì and Nam Định, while Hanoi hosted the bronze and gold medal matches. Men's teams are restricted to under-23 players (born on or after 1 January 1999) with a maximum of three over-aged players allowed. Football at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games were held across three venues in the Philippines; the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan, Laguna, and the City of Imus Grandstand, Imus for the men's tournament. The women's tournament was held in Manila and Biñan. Vietnam won gold in both men's and women's tournaments, beating Indonesia and Thailand respectively. The 2019 Southeast Asian Games also witnessed surprisingly amazing performances of Cambodia football.
