Syafiq Ahmad
Muhammad Syafiq bin Ahmad (born 28 June 1995) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as forward for Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim and the Malaysia national team. Early life Syafiq was born and raised in Sungai Ara in the state of Penang, Malaysia. As a child Syafiq represented his school, Sekolah Menengah Tunku Anum Tunku Abdul Rahman for tournaments under the age of 15 and 18. Club career Syafiq made his debut in the Malaysian League with Kedah on 20 August 2013 against LionsXII in a Malaysia Cup match. He came in from the bench on the 81st minute. His first Malaysia Premier League match is against Perlis on 24 January 2014 where Kedah won 4-1. On 16 May 2014, he scored his first league goal against Felda United which also the winning goal. Sungai Ara
Sungai Ara is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. The cup is contested among the clubs from the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, Malaysia M3 League and Malaysia M4 League.
