Ricardo DaSilva II, better known by his stage name Swingfly, is an American–Swedish naturalised rapper and singer. He is also known by other aliases like Swing-Fly, Richie Pasta and Swing. He started lending his vocal talents to other artists' records, but has also developed also a solo career. He also appeared in '' Melodifestivalen 2011'' with "Me and My Drum", finishing fifth. It became his most successful single, reaching the No. 2 position on the Swedish Singles Chart. Early career Ricardo DaSilva II was born in New York. He lived in Trinidad and Tobago and Panama before relocating to Stockholm, Sweden in 1991. In Stockholm, he became involved in the emerging hip hop scene and joined the Timebomb collective, together with producer Christian Falk, rapper ADL, and DJ Sleepy among others. RamPac is a Sweden, Swedish music writing and producing team made up of Johan Ramström born on 17 December 1975) and Patrik Magnusson (born in Öland on 17 March 1970). The duo team is based in Stockholm and has been working together since 2002. Both Magnusson and Ramström were band members and fellow guitarists in the successful Swedish pop group Popshop alongside Cornelia Dahlgren (on lead vocals), Jonas Hermansson (bass) and Micael Olofsson (drums) from 1998 until 2002 when the group split up. RamPac have written (co-written) and produced for a number of artists including Swingfly, Crashdïet, Mick Mars, Nervo, Teron Beal, Andreas Carlsson, Jörgen Elofsson and others. Melodifestivalen 2011 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2011. It selected Sweden's 51st song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 50th edition of Melodifestivalen. Eric Saade, with the song "Popular", won the contest and thus was selected to represent Sweden in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Format The 2011 edition of Melodifestivalen was similar to the previous year's arrangement, with four heats, a second-chance round and a grand final. The four heats were held in Luleå (5 February), Gothenburg (12 February), Linköping (19 February) and Malmö (26 February). The second chance round was held in Sundsvall on 5 March and the final in Stockholm was held on 12 March. SVT presented the competing songs during autumn 2010. As in 2010 and 2009, a maximum of eight people were allowed on stage, while only persons of 16 years or over would be eligible. Teddybears (band)
Teddybears (formerly Teddybears STHLM) are a Swedish alternative rock band formed in 1991, known for mixing pop, rock, hip hop, electronica, reggae, punk, and many other genres. History Teddybears began as a grindcore group called Skull. As for the name Teddybears, Joakim Åhlund says, "If you're familiar with the Swedish or Norwegian black metal scene, you know back then every band was called things like 'Corpse Grinder From Hell'. So we called ourselves the Teddybears as an 'anti' thing. We were the hardest rocking andin Sweden and we're calling ourselves the Teddybears." The band members started to wear large bear masks in album art and promotional photographs sometime after 2006; before that, they appeared in concert and on photos without disguises.
