Winstead Sheffield Glenndenning Dixon "Doodles" Weaver (May 11, 1911 – January 17, 1983) was an American character actor, comedian, and musician. Born into a wealthy West Coast family, Weaver began his career in radio. In the late 1930s, he performed on Rudy Vallée's radio programs and ''Kraft Music Hall''. He later joined Spike Jones' City Slickers. In 1957, Weaver hosted his own NBC variety show ''The Doodles Weaver Show''. In addition to his radio work, he also recorded a number of comedy records, appeared in films and guest-starred on numerous television series from the 1950s through the 1970s. Weaver made his last onscreen appearance in 1981. Despondent over poor health, Weaver fatally shot himself in January 1983. Margaret Early (December 25, 1919 – November 29, 2000) was an American film actress who was active in Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s. She is best remembered for her endearing Southern charm. Life and career Born on Christmas Day 1919 into a devout Baptist family, she grew up on a farm near Birmingham, Alabama. During her youth, she often appeared in religious plays at her church, particularly in Christmas pageants. Edward Curtiss (1898-1970) was an American film editor who worked in Hollywood from the 1920s through the 1960s. Biography Curtiss was born in Los Angeles, California, to Frank Curtiss and Mabel West. He got his start in the film industry as a stuntman, and he had an aviator's license.
