Mende, Lozère
Mende (, ) is a communes of France, commune and the prefectures in France, prefecture of the departments of France, department of Lozère, in the regions of France, region of Occitania (administrative region), Occitania, Southern France. Its demonym, inhabitants are called the ''Mendois''. The city, including the first traces of dwellings date back to 200 BC, was originally named ''Mimata'', probably in reference to the mountains that surround it. Mende is located between Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier, but also on the axis of Lyon–Saint-Étienne–Albi–Toulouse. The other important nearby towns are Aurillac and Saint-Flour, Cantal, Saint-Flour (Cantal), Le Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire), Rodez, Millau (Aveyron) and Alès and Nîmes (Gard). Even though Mende remains a relatively sparsely populated city (approximately 12,000 inhabitants), it remains the most important of the Lozère Department. Luca Sacchi (born 10 January 1968) is a TV commentator and retired Italian swimmer. He competed at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Olympics in the 200 m and 400 m individual medley and won a bronze medal in the 400 m in 1992. In 1991 he became European champion in the same event. Franck Esposito (born 13 April 1971 in Salon-de-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône) is a former World Record holding, and four-time Olympic, butterfly swimmer from France. He swam for France at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympics; and won the bronze medal in the 200 Butterfly at the 1992 Olympics. During his career, he set the short course World Record in the 200 fly four times. He won a total number of four European titles in long course, starting from 1991. Esposito broke the world record in the 200 m butterfly (short course) four times. At the 1991 World Championships, he lowered the French Record in the long course 200 Fly for the first time (1:59.00). He subsequently bettered the record six more times, and as of 2013 still holds the record at 1:54.62 which he swam at the 2002 French Championships (at the time, also a European Record). Miloš Milošević
Miloš ("Mićo") Milošević (born 10 May 1972) is a swimmer from Croatia. His best swimming discipline was butterfly stroke, but he also competed in freestyle and backstroke. Miloš Milošević was born in Split to an ethnic Serb family. He enrolled in the swimming school of the swimming club "Mornar" in 1980, which lasted four years. At the age of 14, he started competing in youth swimming competitions of SFR Yugoslavia. He won a total of eight gold medals as a junior. He later moved to Rijeka, to the swimming club "Primorje". As a person of Serb descent, during the Croatian War of Independence he had considerable difficulty trying to compete for Croatia.
